Katherine Scevers of Sutherlin, Oregon, passed away on March 5th at the age of 95. She was born on December 29th 1930, in Lubbock, Texas, to Claud and Agness Knee.

Katherine will be remembered for her love for God and her family.

She is survived by her daughter Jonita Tolman and son-in-law Wes Tolman; grandson Ben Sulffridge; granddaughter Angela Sulffridge Buckbee and husband Blaise Buckbee; great-grandchildren Tyler and wife Grace, Gabe, Haylie, Van-Daniel, Espn and Jackson; along with her great-great-granddaughters Marlee and Audree.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Lee Nation in March 1985, her second husband Ed Scevers in March 2017, and her son Mike Nation in August 2025.

A celebration of life will be held at The Father's House church on March 21st at 1pm, located at 376 East 2nd Avenue in Sutherlin.
