Paul Malcom Miner

Paul was born to Paul and Dorothy Miner Oct. 11, 1935, in Pasadena, California. He passed away peacefully May 3, 2026, with his son Mike at his side. He was 90 years old.

Paul was raised in Pasadena, where he met and married E. Marie Newcomer. After serving in the United States Army, Paul and Marie returned to Pasadena, where he joined to Pasadena police department. After serving with the Pasadena police department they moved in 1964, to Roseburg, and he joined the Roseburg police department, there he rose to the rank of lieutenant. After retirement in 1987, he spent his time as a rancher in the Winston area. He loved hunting and fishing from a young age with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marie, his mother and father and sister Ruth.

He is survived by their two sons Mike and Doug (Michelle), two brothers John and Bob and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on May 14, at Taylors Family Chapel 245 SW Main St. Winston, Oregon.
